Are Humans Really Necessary?

AI agents are getting wild. GrokBot, Dots, Muse. Looking at them, I feel like someone has already built what I was planning. Damn!

Earn money. Reply to emails. Say "buy this," and it buys it. Things I used to do one step at a time are starting to happen with a single instruction.

An Internet for AI

The news about cyberattacks has been pretty intense lately, too. For this blog, I stopped using the domain I had with Onamae.com and switched to a new one registered through Cloudflare.

I think we're getting close to the limit of just adding AI to the internet we already have. So much of the web assumes a human is looking at a screen and clicking things. Can we really keep adding AI on top of that and expect it to work?

That's why I'm seriously working on building a new internet for AI, from scratch. It's already underway, and I plan to put the website up soon. I'm serious about this.

What Happens to Money?

I think money itself might lose its value within ten years. AI agents will earn it for us, and everyone will be using them. If that happens, money won't mean what it does now.

Maybe everyone ends up equal. But I also get this feeling that, while we think we're moving into the future, we could end up back in a world that looks a lot like the past. Wars included.

Things Only Humans Can Do

That's why, right now, I want to do things only humans can do. Sports, music, calligraphy. Athletes are a pretty good example of what makes us human.

I think AI will take over the mechanical work, and work itself will eventually disappear. So I want to let more of my own humanity show, starting now. That feels like the most important thing.

Anyone else feel the same?
